Let's Move Together

"LET'S MOVE TOGETHER" was written to assist children ages 4-11 with relocation. This includes the preparation, planning, feeling, and arrival stages of moving.

A move for children ages 4-11 is the second most traumatic event that can occur in the primary and preadolescent ages. If the move is created by additional psychological losses due to divorce, death, separation from extended family, or multiple moves, a child suffers additional trauma. Children in the age range of 4-11 years are not developmentally capable of understanding and speaking their stress.

"LET'S MOVE TOGETHER" provides a medium to discuss feelings, concerns, and ideas. "LET'S MOVE TOGETHER" provides a child with his or her own resource of 46 psychologically drawn illustrations designed to nuture each child.
